How Long Will It Take Before You Quit Your Mlm Business?

A number of years ago there was a movie about a man who was attempting to become a Navy Diver. Robert DiNero and Cuba Gooding, Jr. were the notables in the movie. The movie depicts the tremendous trials and tribulations that the diving recruit, Cuba Gooding, Jr goes through in his quest to become a Navy Diver. Cuba is an African American US Navy cook who has a dream to become a diver in an era in which there were no non-white Navy divers. If you haven't seen the movie, you can imagine the difficulties, especially since the movie takes place in the deep south. Robert DiNero is Cuba's drill sergeant. DiNero's job is to wash Cuba out of the program. But because of the determination exhibited by Cuba to reach his goal, DiNero is having a tough time accomplishing the task his superiors gave him. A one point in the movie, DeNiro tells the recruit, "Go Home Cookie!" Cuba tells DeNiro in not so many words that he will NEVER ! give up.

Is that your attitude in your network marketing business? Do you have a burning desire to be successful? Because if you don't, you diminish your ability to be successful. Do you know why these emotions exist? Ask yourself this question. Do you enjoy having someone approach you about their new business venture? I didn't think so. Neither do I. See, that is where the problem lies in network marketing. In today's world we are inundated with telemarketers at dinner time. Kids ringing our doorbells, seemingly on a nightly basis selling girl scout cookies, candy for the boy scouts, etc etc. ad nauseum. It's no wonder most people don't like to be asked about your business opportunity. So how do you promote your business in a way that gets around these issues?


Simple. Learn to mechanize your business. Put procedures in place that automate your system and have prospects calling or emailing you rather than approaching them. Have a system set up that gives y! our prospects the chance to control the flow of information an! d you wi ll find willing and able leads knocking at your door.
