What Is The Worst Advice You Can Give To Or Receive From A Network Marketing Associate?

I was one of the lucky ones. I learned this lesson by observing the hardships of others. Thankfully, I understood the one key point that was the major reason why most network marketers don't make it. They follow advice that will end up leading them down the path of financial loss and emotional hardship. What was that advice? "Downline reps, go out there and get some leads immediately so that you can get a team under you as fast as possible. This will cover your costs and keep you going."

That advice cost a fellow network marketing rep over $7,000 in a seven month period. Yes, you read correctly. The rep NEVER recouped the money because he could not convert even one of those leads into a business partner or customer! Besides the obvious, why was the advice bad? Let's consider two fundamental points...First, buying leads is a sure way of giving up major control in your business. Th! ink about it. You are paying someone to get you leads. You have no control over where the leads came from or how many other marketers also received their names. Secondly, attempting to recruit so that your costs are covered does not happen quickly. The money you earn is split up so many times according to the compensation plan of your mlm, in the beginning ,there is not enough to cover your costs. So, it is a fallacy that will destroy the plans of many.


However, even knowing this, the constant continued recommendation of upline business partners to purchase more and more leads is a source of confusion, hope, worry and finally failure. The rep intuitively knows that not only purchasing leads didn't work, but even if it did, how many people could afford to utilize this strategy and duplicate it? Not many.

The answer to this is to make sure a system is in place that is first, very affordable, second, duplicable by everyone, third, teaches you the nuances of ! online marketing, and fourth, can fund your marketing efforts ! so you c an stay in over the long haul.
