What Is Your Why?

It has been said by many industry leaders over and over again to succeed in your home base business you need to have a big "WHY". Your reason why you want to work from home is very important. If your reason why doesn't make you cry, it is not big enough. If you do not have a big why, you probably do not have what it takes to stick and stay with your home base business. As soon as business gets stuff, you will probably quit if your reason why is not big enough. It will be too easy for you to give up because you do npt have a big why to go through the hard times. Believe me. There will be hard times. All businesses have them so will your home base business.

So lets talk about some reasons why you may want to work from home. You may want to be a stay at home mom so your children don't have to go to daycare or to someone elses home while you are working. Most new moms would love to be a stay at home mom for this reason. They hate to think about leaving! their new baby with someone else to care for them so they could go back to work. You may want to be a stay at home mom so you can home school your children, or just be there to raise them and be there whenever they need you.


You may want to quit your job or fire your boss. There are a lot of reasons you may want to quit your job. Maybe you hate your boss, hate your job or both. Maybe you are tired of the traffic and drive time to and from work, or maybe you want to retire early so you can start traveling more. Maybe you just can not see yourself working a job until you are what they call retirement age. Who said you have to be 65 or older to retire? Retirement has nothing to do with age. It has to do with money. If you work a home base business, you could make much more money than any job could ever pay you. The income is unlimited!

Another reason you may want to work from home is to spend more time with your family members. You may need to take care of a! n elderly parent, sick spouse or child. Working from home coul! d give y ou the opportunity to work on your own schedule so you could do these things while working. Whatever your reason why you want to work from home may be is it big enough that it makes you cry? I mean real tears!

Before or immediately after you start your home base business, sit down and write out the reasons why you want to work from home. Make a list of all the advantages you would personally have by working from home and prioritize your list. Write until it makes you cry. When you're done with your list, post it somewhere so you can see it and read it often, like on your refrigerator, or a wall, or on your bedroom or bathroom mirror. If you look at your reasons why often, it will help you go through the hard times with your home base business and help you stay focus on succeeding with your home base business. Know your why.

You're thinking about trying to earn some more money with Paid To Click (PTC) programs. Or You have been doing it for a while but can't seem to earn enough money to withdraw (normally $10). How are you supposed to earn anything worthwhile?

From my 3-month experiences, I've learned a lot of techniques to make more money for you. Here are 5 tips I've used to increase my own earnings:


1. First of all, find real good PTC that actually paid. You'll be very upset when you put all your effort and found out later that the site is another scam. You can find this information from many forums that talking and discussing about PTC.

2. Sign up for multiple sites. With most sites, you'll only be making a few bucks a month. By clicking on 5-10 sites you will dramatically increase your earnings. I would recommend you to sign up for 2-3 sites first, getting comfortable with them and then expanding. While you click the ad, you wil! l find new PTC sites everyday.

3. Build a large amount of referrals. In some sites, you can even "Buy unreferred referrals" from them. I personally make about $10/day per site from my 500 referrals. You can also use free Traffic Exchange program to advertise your programs.

4. Upgrading to premium member. This way you'll earn about 25 more when all of your referrals click.

5. Don't Cheat. Don't register more than one username under same IP address, if you want to invite your cousin to join the program, ask them to apply at their home. This is the most important issues, in Term of service, They can suspend any account at anytime without prior notice if they found out about this. So be honest and do it their way.

This will allow the independent contractor to work during whatever hours are best suited for them personally, which is in itself a great benefit. If the person is a dedicated night owl who hates daylight as much as most people hate the dark, they can work solely at night and choose what jobs to take on. If the person has a family, maybe they wish only to work while the family is not around to offer distractions that may take away from the quality of their work. Whatever hours are best suited to the person; they can take full advantage of them and have the rest of their time as their own.

Working from home offers additional benefits as well. Money that would otherwise have to be spent purchasing gasoline to travel back and forth; that money can now be reinv! ested in other areas or put aside to pay for vacations or for ! other sp ecial purposes. Cooking and eating at home will also save unnecessary expenditure for costly lunches and snacks, which almost everyone enjoys while working in a more formal setting. The financial savings, if properly used to the contractor's advantage, will be a great benefit and allow the contractor to afford many nice things including vacations that were never available to them before.

Not having an oppressive boss hanging over one's shoulder all the time is certainly an added advantage. Many people do not work well under pressure, but still feel constantly pressured by a nagging boss. Being free of that pressure not only allows them to work faster, but provide better quality work as well. Knowing their own limitations is important, but many people are actually very surprised when they discover how much better they are capable of doing without somebody constantly looking over their shoulder.

Being able to enjoy time with family, time for vacations or just t! ime to relax and do nothing at all is one of the main advantages. Time is the only commodity that we have that we can never replace. Life is much too short to be burdened with "What if" or "If only" when someone misses a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Money is earned, spent and will be earned again; material possessions can be lost and replaced; but time only comes around once. Once that fleeting moment is gone, it is gone forever.

It is still necessary to be careful with one's money. Perhaps that is even truer for the independent contractor who does not have the benefit of a steady paycheck. The rewards however, when taken into consideration and compared with the detriments, are great indeed. There is nothing like being able to enjoy time away whenever a person wants to. Travel on lesser-traveled days can increase enjoyment, service and even result in better prices for things that others are only capable of enjoying on time off when prices are usually higher.

For the outdoors enthusiast, sitting in a nice quiet setti! ng with literally no other people around can not only be very pleasant and relaxing, but is often a great place for "brainstorming" and generating ideas and concepts for work. Trying this same feat when the park or woods are full of weekend warriors and screaming children can be an almost impossible task. The ability to control one's own personal time has many far-reaching advantages.

Do You Hate Calling Your Pospects

Do you ever experience a little anxiety when it comes to picking up the phone to speak with a prospect?

So you have a lead, a contact, someone who expressed interest in your business. Now it's your turn to contact him or her to see if there's a fit and to provide some more information about what it is that you do. But all of a sudden a feeling of angst overwhelms you and you begin to remember the million other "things" that you need to get done before you make that call.


Don't procrastinate in making that phone call because of FEAR OF REJECTION or because you are unsure of what to say. Try these tips instead:

1. Think about what you want to say and jot down the main points on a piece of paper. This will help keep the conversation on track and will help you REMEMBER what you have to say.

2. SMILE while you dial. No, seriously. It may sound silly but this method is proven to be effective because it allows yo! u to relax and will put you in a happier mood so that you do not sound so serious, constipated, whatever. Your prospect CAN tell if you are smiling and will more readily receive what you have to say.

3. Remember to take a deep breath and begin to speak at the beginning of the exhale. This will ensure that you will not lose your breath while speaking and will calm your nerves.

4. Speak clearly and a little slower than usual. This assists in preventing you from "tripping" on your words or speed talking. This should help you to avoid your prospect from asking you to repeat yourself. Tripping on your words can make you even more nervous and the call may become a downhill tumble after this occurs. So remember to BREATHE and speak a little slower.

5. During your introduction ("Hi Sandra, it's [your name] calling..."), remind your prospect where you both met and why you are calling ("we had met the other day (or name what day) at _________and had a great conve! rsation regarding/you had expressed an interest in ..."). Now ! pause to wait to see if the prospect remembers you, if so, the person will say, "oh yes/I remember" or something to that effect.

6. Remember to have a conversational tone when asking to speak with your prospect and maintain this throughout the conversation. Please do not sound like you are the police, IRS/CRA, or a bill collector when requesting to speak with your prospect; otherwise, you may not get to speak with your prospect whether he or she is available to speak or not.

Remember that if your prospect is not interested in your business, they are NOT REJECTING YOU. The timing of the call or opportunity may be off. They may be having a bad day or perhaps they were only interested, but not serious about working with you. If that is the case, IT'S OK! You are only looking for the 2%, those who are truly interested and will not waste your time.

So, please, please PLEASE, do not show that you are angry, upset, hurt etc. because that will be a sure way of turning a! "maybe" or "not right now" into a definite NO. Now, you not only sound emotionally unstable or crazy, but you have made a bad name for yourself which is not good for business.

YOU CAN DO IT! Stop right now and make that call! You have nothing to lose if you make the call and MUCH to lose if you don't! Go ahead, deep breath, smile...now dial!
