Do so in a time efficient manner so that the customer is happy with the quick return on your business, thus supplying you with more business andd sales. If a client is happy with your services, chances are that they will recommend your product or services onto others. Word of mouth will always be the best advertising a business can hope for. Keep your customers happy and in return your business will grow steadily.
Retaining your business records is another high priority. This is important not just from a tax standpoint but also for your business finances and in case you need to recall a previous order for a client. When dealing with your record k! eeping, it is often your best tactic to do this on a daily bas! is. If y ou wait to do it once a week or longer, you have the possibility of losing something or of having errors because you do not remember exactly what the circumstances of each order are. If done on a daily basis, this should not be time consuming, and only take a few minutes each day to place in the books or in your computer. To be even more organized, be sure to keep back up copies of the paperwork or computer program. Having a file cabinet where you keep individual files for each client or for each day of the month can help you locate anything that you may need in a quick and orderly fashion.
Prioritizing your work can be difficult and may even take years to learn what are the most important aspects of running a business. They may also change over time, so be prepared to change when your business changes.
