In his Magnetic Sponsoring book, Mike Dillard talks about how to specifically acquire his "7 figure mindset". You can find it throughout his book, but I wanted to pull it out and put it together in a summary. It's absolutely necessary if you want to achieve well beyond an ordinary income.

It all comes down to being "Alpha", or having the mindset of a true leader. Here's a brief description of the beliefs you have to instill within you for you to have success in creating wealth. I suggest writing these down or highlighting them in the book like I have, and going through them daily.


You have one of three beliefs about yourself. You're Alpha, or Pre-Alpha, or Beta. Each of these is a state of mind, and only YOU decide which category you're in. Society will agree or disagree with you depending on how congruent your actions are with your beliefs.

Your beliefs and congruent actions are referre! d to as your "frame", or state of mind. You can't fake the belief. You either truly believe you are, or you are not. Being "Beta" means you don't see yourself as a leader, and you're not trying to change your beliefs.

So the question is, how do you acquire the belief of being an Alpha leader? One that is absolutely necessary to attract the right people into your business and grow your wealth?

Well, you're going to have to "fake it until you make it". But that doesn't mean lying. It just means going through the struggle for a while to become comfortable in your new shoes as a leader, and expressing those traits through a new frame.

It can be awkward and challenging in the beginning, but it's a process that one must go through to becoming Alpha. Belief has to come first before actions become truly congruent. And it can only be done through dedication, time, and affirmation.

This phase of shifting your beliefs and going through the struggle to bec! oming Alpha is referred to as the "Pre-Alpha" phase. If you're! Pre-Alp ha, you're starting to push yourself out of the comfort zone and expressing leadership. Mike refers to it as "the struggle found before the big reward."

Here are the characteristics he lists of someone who is Pre-Alpha:

- They've started training new distributors and providing them instructions

- They're posture on the phone has become more authoritative.

- They've started hosting and introducing people on live calls.

- They've taken responsibility for their lead generation and marketing.

- Their level of confidence & self-worth has begun to rise significantly.

- They have the vision, courage, and willingness to lead themselves through challenges.

- They're really learning to follow before they can lead.

"Best way to kick Beta traits is to consciously look for them, take notice, and then do what an Alpha would do. Becoming a different person will take time and you'll screw it up. You'll take your past Beta frust! ration out on new followers, and you'll piss people off. That's ok. This is called 'Pre-Alpha Calibration' and it's something you can only learn by screwing it up, calibrating, and then moving forward." - Mike Dillard

Currently, this is where I see majority of business owners, at the Pre-Alpha stage. The Alphas are much smaller in number, and it's obvious because they're the ones breaking into millions of dollars in income. Look around you.

Successful entrepreneurs are Alpha. Beta entrepreneurs don't exist. And bottom line is that you want to be an Alpha in ALL parts of your life, including business.
There's a lot to talk about when it comes to becoming a TRUE Alpha leader. It's a whole other discussion, so...
